I'm the hands, heart and head behind Albero.
My love of all things sparkly and nature has combined to create unique pieces that reflect both beauty and sustainability.
My Story
My story is probably very similar to many other small business owners… corporate girl turned creator!
My creative side was first unleashed with woodwork — never as a business, just a hobby of upcycling furniture and occasionally making a planter or two. Eventually, I was making everything from tables to picture frames, with dreams of designing kitchens and large interiors.
And then… Jewellery making captured my heart.
It all started when I gifted my husband a jewellery-making course (I had to accompany him, of course!). I’m so glad I did. Many more courses and two certified jewellery diplomas later, I now design and handmake my own jewellery, mainly in gold and silver. I also love creating bespoke pieces, working with clients to bring their ideas to life and make something that is completely personal and unique to them.
More recently, I’ve added permanent jewellery to the mix — combining my love of creating with the experience of designing something completely personal.
And that’s really what Albero is all about — creating beautiful, thoughtfully made jewellery with a personal touch.
