The Couples Studio Experience
Create your wedding bands together, in our studio
The Couples Studio Experience is a hands-on, relaxed day where you’ll create your own wedding bands alongside me, learning the techniques and processes that go into making a piece of jewellery designed to last a lifetime.
From choosing your metal and deciding on the perfect shape and finish, to forming and creating the rings themselves, you’ll be involved in every stage. I’ll be there to guide you, demonstrate the techniques and help you create two rings that are completely your own.
No previous jewellery-making experience is needed — just come ready to get involved.
How it works
Couples Studio Experience
£350 per couple
Plus Material costs
01 — Consultation
We’ll start with a consultation, either over Zoom or, preferably, in the studio.
We’ll talk through your ideas, discuss your preferred metal, width and finish, and if you're in studio, you’ll be able to try on different styles and see what feels right.
02 — Choose your materials
Once you’ve decided on your rings, I’ll provide a quote for the materials.
A 50% deposit secures your order.
03 — Book your studio day
We’ll arrange a date for your Couples Studio Experience.
04 — Make your rings
Spend up to 5 hours in the studio, working alongside me to create your wedding rings. You’ll be guided through the process, from shaping and forming your rings to adding texture and creating your chosen finish.
And because it’s a proper studio day, there’ll be refreshments and snacks along the way.
05 — I’ll finish the details
Once you’ve created your rings, I’ll take care of the final finishing.
I’ll bring your rings to a beautiful high shine, complete any final adjustments and arrange hallmarking.
06 — Your finished rings
Your completed wedding bands will be ready for collection, beautifully presented together in a couples’ ring box.

How much is the material?
This is a tricky one! The cost of your materials depends not only on the metal you choose, but also on the current price of precious metals at the time your rings are made.
Precious metal prices can fluctuate, sometimes quite significantly, so I don't want to give you a price today that could be different by the time we make your rings.
As a general guide, silver is considerably less expensive than gold, while the price of gold depends on its purity. 24ct gold is almost pure gold and therefore the most expensive, with 18ct and 9ct becoming progressively more affordable.

Can i bring my own metal?
No, not currently, i'm not fully set up to melt and reform metal into something that we can use. I hope to be able to add this in the future.
